In 2022, the organization participated in the Huawei Seed for the Future program by selecting six National Service personnel from different sectors to participate in the program. The selected personnel were chosen based on their interest in the ICT industry and potential to contribute to the industry’s growth.
Due to the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, the program was conducted virtually. The National Service personnel participated in the program remotely for a period of two weeks, during which they were exposed to various aspects of the ICT industry, including 5G, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. They were also given the opportunity to interact with professionals in the industry and engage in practical sessions, where they were given hands-on experience in the use of various ICT tools.
The Huawei Seed for the Future program had a significant impact on the participating National Service personnel. Despite being conducted virtually, the program exposed them to the latest trends and technologies in the ICT industry, which broadened their knowledge and skills in the field. The program also helped to build their confidence, as they had the opportunity to interact with professionals in the industry and showcase their skills.

The virtual program also provided the personnel with a unique experience of remote collaboration, which has become increasingly relevant in today’s world. They had the opportunity to work with people from different backgrounds and cultures, which helped to broaden their worldview and build their intercultural competence.

Those who successfully passed the exam were awarded a certificate of completion, which serves as a testament to their knowledge and skills in the ICT industry. The certificate is recognized by Huawei and serves as a valuable asset to the personnel’s professional portfolio. The exams and awarding of certificates are an important part of the program, as they provide a tangible measure of the participants’ knowledge and skills, and recognition of their achievement.
